Hi,
the title says it all. Assuming I have a radio model, even from a
manufacturer which is not yet added to Chirp, how can one request this
and how should one support?

A new build of CHIRP-next is available. This includes changes made directly to the tree since the last build and may include additional features, bug fixes, etc. Unless you have a reason not to, we recommend using the latest build of CHIRP-next at all times.
