I believe this to be a program (CHIRP) issue. I see no point in changing the functioning of my system for the one ³odd ball² issue. But I thank you for your response. I would be curious to find out if there are any other Mac(PC?) users out there with the same problem. I did not have this issue on earlier editions of CHIRP. MacOS 10.12.2 When I try to type into a field, I have to be on the line above the field that I want. Only have this problem with Chirp. Annoying. Any fix? Thanks. Skip Horni, W5UTW

[chirp_users] Trouble down loading from VX-7R

Hello Support, I am having trouble downloading the frequencies from my VX-7R to create an image file. I have purchased the programming cable and I also had another cable neither will work. The radio will tell me clone error and the Chirp software will tell me "Failed to communicate with the radio". I have tried different Comm ports and I have tried different USB ports on my laptop. Thank you for your help on this matter.
