[chirp_users] CHIRP daily-20150405

I downloaded “CHIRP daily-20150405” for a new UV5R baofang and it worked perfectly. I also have an old UV5R and now my software will not download or upload to my older radio. What have I done so this, and where do I find the older versions. Dave Barber KD0TUN

Fix is to initialize the flags to zero -- there was already code to set them to 1 when needed.

Every time I install, it fails unless I grant an exception in ver 12 of Symantec End Point Protection. Pretty sure it's a false positive, but wanted to run it by the developers in this group. I get 2 copies of every message. I had originally configured my chirp email address as pctek(a)pacbell.net <mailto:pctek@pacbell.net> , but that kept bouncing back, so I created a new Gmail account and thought I set CHIRP to use that address. How can I find out if my pacbell.net address is still in use? Thank you, Steve Gouveia

Trying to program my new Baofeng UV-5R. I installed the latest daily build of CHIRP (20150405), downloaded from the radio, and try to import the attached CSV file. I receive the following message: "There was an error during import no attribute power in struct" Anyone have any idea what I might need to do? My Chirp version is at least 6 mo but works very well for me. Would somebody please give me a step by step procedure for installing a new version ? Will new overwrite old ? Delete old version first ?
