[chirp_users] Need Windows test help

Hi all, I think I tracked down the issue recently uncovered on Windows Vista and 7, regarding weird display issues. I would really appreciate it if a few people could grab and test the following build: http://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_daily/gtk-test/ I would like to hear from someone on each of Windows XP, Vista, and 7. Please download and install, and report the version numbers shown in the Help->About box. Then, please do some downloading, uploading, importing, and editing to make sure that it's stable and functional. It looks like the issue resulting in the weird behavior on Windows Vista/7 might have been causing other minor instabilities in all versions of Windows, so this will be good to get fixed. Note that this has no effect on the Linux or MacOS builds at all. Hi all, Although it may not seem like it from the recent thread on Windows GTK weirdness, I think chirp is stabilizing enough for another release. There have been a huge number of changes, improvements, and bug fixes since 0.1.12 was released in September. All of the bugs that have been opened on the website that are targed for 0.1.13 have been fixed, so I feel like we're getting pretty close to that point. If you have anything else that you think needs to be addressed before 0.1.13 please speak up, otherwise I'll tag and post the release in a couple of days. All, Fedora Linux RPMs for the latest chirp-daily build are now available in the KK7DS Ham-Apps yum repository. To add the repository as a software source, please follow these instructions: http://www.d-rats.com/component/content/article/30-d-rats-yum-repository/ I know it says d-rats, the chirp files are in the same repository. After setting up the repository, open the "Add/Remove Software" tool and go to "software sources" under the system menu. Make sure the "KK7DS Ham Apps Beta Software" line is checked (enabled). For some reason, the Fedora package manager likes the beta versions better that the daily builds, so you may not see the daily release in the list the first time you update. If you don't see it, open a terminal window and enter: yum update chirp-daily_daily_02292012 Or yum update chirp-daily_daily_022920121.fc16 That should install the latest daily build.
