[chirp_users] TPE format import

Hello, I have a website that generates several radio programming formats, including the "Travel Plus Export" format, or TPE. A user is complaining that the CHIRP software imports all 70cm repeaters with a 0.6 Mhz offset even if the file itself shows a 5.0 Mhz offset. Is this an issue in the software, or do I need to change something in my file format? I can provide an example export file if that would be helpful. 73, Tom White, K5EHX

[chirp_users] Using chirp to program a Yaesu FT-60

I can use chirp to program both the UV-5 and the UV-3 but I cannot program the Yeasu.I am using the same cable for the UV-3 and the Yaesu. Does anybody have any ideas? I can not get my UV-5R to recognize a 2 meter repeater at all. I've set the offset and every known variable. Does anyone have a suggestion? It's a repeater in Dublin, VA at 146.67 and one in Perarisburg, VA at 147.135 . Thanks

[chirp_users] an error has occurred pop up

I successfully download from the uv5r, but then this message pops up. An error has occurred valid 18 not in range 0-5 I re installed the latest chirp software to no avail, someone please advise.

Hi Mike, Do you have another radio that works on these repeaters and can you check the settings in the working radio against the UV-5R? Does it transmit on the correct frequencies? Does it receive on the correct frequencies? As others have already suggested do the repeaters need PL to activate? Are the repeaters working? Hi I used the chirp software on my radios and it works properly on the UV-5R with bios version 291 but with ver 293 it disables the transmit function.
