It's possible this patch breaks memory delete on the Icom IC-746 or
IC-7200. It's also possible the patch fixes memory delete.

[ft2900] Add msg for attempt to upload to locked radio Fixes #3055
A FT-2900/FT-1900 may be "locked" preventing configuration changes. An
upload will fail if this is the case. This patch adds some text to the
upload dialog box to help the user avoid attempting to upload to a
"locked" radio. It also adds some text to the error message to suggest
the user check to make sure his radio is not locked.

[IC-7000] Add support for channel banks fixes #551
It's possible this patch breaks memory delete on the Icom IC-746 or
IC-7200. It's also possible the patch fixes memory delete.
This patch was only tested on an IC-7000.

Hello everyone!
I am new to chirp development. I thought I would take a shot at rewriting
the FT-50 driver to the new bitwise format and hopefully get the driver
working. I know several people have attempted this in the past but it
hasn't quite been completed. If anyone has worked on this driver before and
has any info that may help I'd appreciate it if you sent it my way.
Also, I've been looking through several of the drivers and they all seem to
have a little different style. Anyone know which driver is closest to the
"ideal" style so I can model my code in the same form? Or perhaps at least
which Yaesu driver is the best one to follow.

Hi, I'm a huge fan of CHIRP, and I'd like to help.
I have both a TS-480, and an IC-7100. Both are not supported by CHIRP
yet. The format for the TS-480 is similar to the TS-2000, as I
understand it. I am not sure what to use as a template for the IC-7100
yet. Anyone working on these or similar devices that can clue me in?
