[chirp_users] programming a icom ic207h
hi all I have a ic207h and a rt systems cable usb 29a cable. but when I try to commute with the radio I get a error message cannot read from radio ? any suggestions

possibly the RT systems cable , if the chirp build was done using another cable as RT claim their cables are somehow custom, but how much is fact and how much is hype ..

I have problems with different radio and usually it's a connect with.radio side. Make use the radio is turned on also. I have done this numerous times.

thanks its a old radio so not sure , was hoping the software was the same as the 208h. thanks

according to Icom the cable and software are different from a 207 to a 208. so im now looking for another cable
