[chirp_users] Kenwood TK-260G
Does anyone have good instructions for programing a Kenwood TK-260G, including needed cable and/or Driver. I tried and only got an error that the radio will not go into program mode. Any help or phone number of someone that has a Kenwood TK-260G that I can call would be much appreciated. I am a volunteer fire fighter and am trying to reuse these radios for a new fire district. as baofeng is a chineese imitation of the kenwood and they use the same cable read the good database at www.miklor.com. it might help a lot. anyway there is general staff that apply to all radios.

Hi James,
I'm the Chirp's developer for that radio, you need a kenwood cable and Chirp will do it, drop me a email if you found any trouble.
I had a TK-260G for a short frame of time to test, I would like to debug it with your help.
