Can anyone tell when "Chirp lovers" maybe will be able to program a TYT TH-9800 through Chirp?
Programing a radio with-out Chirp is like watching a game with-out a beer.

Sorry, I forgot a word. Yes, presumably the CD that came with it has the TYT software; I got it online. You can use the TYT software to download and upload data from the radio. The files it saves can be opened in Chirp, where you can copy and paste to other radios, etc. The Chirp support for this radio is incomplete, so you can't upload and download directly from Chirp.

So I can use chirp as I do for my ICOMs and UV-5R's?
Do I have to use the CD coming with the radio and then use chirp? Sorry but I am not the most technical guy :-)

In the daily builds, Chirp can manipulate files created by the official TYT TH-9800. Chirp can't download or upload directly to the radio.

I just got mine but can not get it to work with Chirp. When reading from the radio I can see the TH-9800 as a choice of radio.
Can anyone help??
