Can anyone tell when "Chirp lovers" maybe will be able to program a TYT TH-9800 through Chirp?
Programing a radio with-out Chirp is like watching a game with-out a beer.

> Sorry, I forgot a word. Yes, presumably the CD that came with it has the TYT software; I got it online. You can use the TYT software to download and upload data from the radio. The files it saves can be opened in Chirp, where you can copy and paste to other radios, etc. The Chirp support for this radio is incomplete, so you can't upload and download directly from Chirp. > > Tom KD7LXL > > On Sat, Nov 8, 2014, 18:44 Roos G Mats <mats.g.roos@gmail.com> wrote: > help me understand?? > > So I can use chirp as I do for my ICOMs and UV-5R's? > > Do I have to use the CD coming with the radio and then use chirp? Are you connecting to the data jack or the speaker/mic jack? You have to use the data jack. On Nov 21, 2014 8:52 PM, "Red" <reply.via.list@gmail.com> wrote:
