I was hoping there would be more interest in this nice little radio[1]. Both my dad and I have one and I would really like to be able to program it and I only run Linux at home. I'm also the current package maintainer for Fedora.
I don't mind doing the leg work but I do need at least some guidance from a knowledgeable developer.

I have a basic working knowledge of Python and serial communications and I've even gotten an initial response from the radio with the modifications I made as referenced in the ticket.
