Thanks for your quick response, but I was already aware of that link. There were offers to send in a radio on some of the duplicate tickets which were not acted on, thus my offer here to do the leg work if I can get just a little help on tips and tricks to getting it working.

I have a basic working knowledge of Python and serial communications and I've even gotten an initial response from the radio with the modifications I made as referenced in the ticket.
