Open up Internet Explorer then TOOLS from the top menu and Then click Windows Update.

Choose Custom and install the updates you want, click install. Reboot Redo the updates until they are all installed. At least the high priority ones are installed. Then work on software updates, then hardware updates.

Anyone know what may be outdated on my computer? Some info on web say it may be an outdated DLL file? I am running windows XP but all up to date.

Brian, XP SP3 is not a new Service Pack. If you have "Windows Update", make sure you select the option to upgrade to "Microsoft Update." Also run Microsoft Update several times, until there are no updates available. There can be updates to the updates that were installed on the last update. It is important to turn on Automatic Updates. Optional Updates are sometimes difficult to know which ones to install; these can relate to services that you will never use or need. Good luck. Brian W

I would have to see the file. Since I am in the business of computers, give a call and we can do a remote session so I can see what is going on. Email me directly off list and we can set a time. JMG-Support@JMG-Enterprises.com
