I've just joined this email list and I don't see a way to search previous posts, so forgive me if this is a duplicate.

Is anyone else having trouble because of the problem that I described here: https://chirp.danplanet.com/issues/7027 ?

This makes the 'move' function very hard to use because you have to watch as you move the item and be prepared to correct any errors that it commits as it moves.

Don't use ctrl-up to move it up. Highlight the row and use the right click menu.

Thanks for the suggestion, Nigel, but that seems to be at least as bad. It appears that each time you move the item (except for the first time), it assigns to it the name of the item that was previously one slot below it.

Are you trying it with my img file or with your own? And if yours, is it from a VX-6? I just tried it on Linux (Raspian) and it did the same thing there.

I don't have your .img file but it seems to work fine with my vx6.img file. Using Chirp Daily 20200107 and Ubuntu 19.10

I just got a new radio and it works fine on an image from that one, so I guess the problem is specific to the image of my VX-6. I’ll try re-building the memory and see how it goes.
