[chirp_users] How to program a uv82hp with chirp ?
I tried to program my uv82hp using chirp, it locked it up on vfo and I can't get it unlocked. Chirp will not let me go to settings, I click on settings and it's blank ! Where can I send it to get it fixed? Need help ! THANKS Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
Wayne, There should be a factory reset option. There is one in the menus, but there may be a key combination for that too. HTH. The settings menus are not displaying because there is a setting in the radio that has an out-of-range value. Upload the backup image you save after your first successful download. If you didn't do that, then locate a "factory" image from a radio with the exact same firmware version and upload it into the radio.
