I would still rather use CHIRP as all my other radios are programmed with it and also to show my appreciation to all the great CHIRP guy's & girls out there :-)

You mention that you are able to program your FT270 by selecting 160 in CHIRP; what cable are you using? I have an RTSystems USB cable but have no success using CHIRP to connect by selecting the FT 160. The message I get is either 'Radio did not respond' or 'Unable to load header'
Any suggestions?
