Download the manual for the radio. it should have a pinout of the data connection. My FT-8900 is wired the same as your rig, I don't think they have changed the pin numbers since they started using the mini DIN plug for data. I used spare Wouxon cable and put a mini DIN plug on it to use to program my 8900.
