Download the manual for the radio. it should have a pinout of the data connection. My FT-8900 is wired the same as your rig, I don't think they have changed the pin numbers since they started using the mini DIN plug for data. I used spare Wouxon cable and put a mini DIN plug on it to use to program my 8900.

I have a Yaesu FT-7800 radio which I program manually.  I also have a Baofeng UV-5RE plus with programming cable.  I run Windows 7.  I have successfully programmed the Baofeng and would like to know if anyone has used CHIRP and the UV-5RE programming cable to program the Yaesu FT-7800.  The FT-7800 uses a PS2 type connector at the rear of the radio so I would have to make a custom cable interface which is no problem, I'm just puzzled over the connections / pinout.  Thanks & 73
