Coping and then pasting is a much safer way to get information on to a Baofeng.
If you just upload file from another radio you stand a good chance of “semi bricking" the the uploaded radio. (I say “semi bricking”, because you can get the radio back working, but it has taken me a few hours with each radio.)
(I have programed over 120 radios for club members, and other, and have never had a problem by coping and then pasting. Peter ----- Peter J. McClosky, N7IY Eugene, Oregon pmcclosky@earthlink.net n7iy@arrl.net http://home.earthlink.net/~pmcclosky/

You can have multiple radios connected at the same time, they'll be just in separate tabs. I'd suggest to load each radio in a separate tab and then copy and paste the relevant data between them. Direct export won't work because you're most likely trying to transfer also some model-specific settings.
Cheers, rad0
Copy and paste between tabs is certainly works and is convenient, but importing the *.img radio into a tab for the destination radio is more thorough.
