NO luck yet. I held the plug in as far as it would go, no change. I turned the volume up all the way, no luck. I closed CHIRP and re-opened as Administrator,still no luck up or downloading.

Try making sure you vigorously plug the connector into the radio and hold it in while loading from chirp.  Also turn the volume up from minimum.   Last resort run chirp as adminstrator.

    I tried reloading the latest version of CHIRP, no change.  I tried an earlier version of CHIRP, no change. I reloaded the latest version back, no change.  Visually the radio's red light blinks then the LED display blinks then the error message shows up on CHIRP.


    Any suggestions?
