#4 message the procedure for replying to a specific message is unclear? hope this works...
mageia 4 64bit KDE Desktop environment Chromium browser
when I tried to install from the link on the wiki http://d-rats.com/yum/f11/d-rats-repo-0.1.2-1.fc11.noarch.rpm with software installer, the procedure starts, asks me if I'm sure & then nothing
this link works http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/updates/20/i386/chirp-0.4.0-1.f...
which would mean fedora keeps an updated version in their repository I think... I don't see the working link of the wiki page
Mageia being downstream of RedHat>Fedora there would be no real need to get the mageia devs to bring chirp onboard at least until I could actually try to use it some I haven't been able to get it working as yet, nor the UV-5Rs I intend to use. I just need basic 2 way communication on my ranch.
I'll be happy to get any answers you request from mageia
I don't understand "Also the rpm package you linked contains a yum repo definition, not an application." Beyond use the link that works
thanks for your hard work

I have a Kenwood TM-241 that is able to handle frequencies that are able to be resolved correctly in the Kenwood MCP-1A programmer however chirp complains about the band and steps
the frequency is 15x.5625.
Is there a workaround to disable the test and enter the frequency
Thanks
