[chirp_users] Vx7 having the upload problem form Tom@K3WS.com
communications error / invalid character “0A” should have been NACK/ACK try again.
Still having the upload problem. I enabled the mods settings in vx7 commander software no joy there either. when trying to upload with the rt systems software the error that pops up is as follows ( communications error / invalid character “0A” should have been NACK/ACK try again. Please send any feedback on how to fix this to tom@k3ws.com

This is a well-known limitation because the ICF files for 91/92 radios are completely different than the others. I do, however, have some code from AE7Q to use to add this support. I will leave this open until I get it added.

Thanks. I've actually finished adding it to the code and made a lot of progress towards simplifying the process of using ICF files with CHIRP. You can now import directly from an ICF instead of converting it first, which unifies the path for all types of those files. That will be available in the next beta, which hopefully won't be too far off.
