Can anyone recall or explain why these radios are being discouraged to be used? Something about frequency separation or bleed over???
I believe it was intermod/cross channel interference issues. I know several guys that have these radios and they have not mentioned such issues to me. I am nit in a dense metro area but we are close enough that I think that would be obvious if it were a serious problem.
