[chirp_users] Yaesu FT-270R
Greetings Chirpers,
I have a Yaesu FT-270R hand held and would like to program it either via CHIRP or another piece of software. I noticed in the CHIRP list of equipment, the FT-270R is not featured....does anyone know if another model would also communicate with this HH in the CHIRP archive? Thanks E
Chirp currently doesn't support the 270r (I wish it was). My recommendation that I have personally use is this software from here. Much cheaper then RT systems software! http://www.g4hfq.co.uk
It is very reasonable priced and excellent to use.

I use another model for mine, I think the 60, works fine whichever it is

It's clonable, via the same adaptor cable that the Yaesu VX series radios use.
You might have to lend your radio to the Chirp team to get it included.
