OK, I'm like Phil on Dusk Dynasty; "A low tech man in a high tech world".On a UV5R, how do I go about swapping the VFO limits so that the VFO is disabled?
I recommend that you study the wonderful web site "www.miklor.com". Much information available there, answers to many questions. Given the steps that must be taken to enter the VFO mode, it seems like there is no need to disable VFO, as one cannot just "accidentally" get into the VFO mode. If you concentrate on programming the repeaters you desire to use, there is likely little or no need to disable VFO.
Good luck and 73,

For example the UHF low limit is usually 400 and the UHF high limit is usually 520. Swapping them would make the UHF low limit 520 and the UHF high limit 400. But any numbers will do as long a the low limit is higher than the high limit.
