I cant seem to find where i can change the fm radio station that my baofeng tunes to i used to be able to program it to a local station and pick up music with it. Did this feature get removed in the latest build Sent from my iPad
In my Baofengs, I can do it two ways, Tap the top button on the left, and then you can scan, or while in frequency mode, simply punch in the frequency, like 102300 HTH. Thanks for the reply but I don't recall asking about FM radio....
I wanted to use CHIRP to program my radio but it's not in the list of supported radios and was hoping/wondering if it will be add in the future.
I have the Baofeng GM 15 PRO
Thanks for any help!

If you are talking about a 128-channel Baofeng such as the UV-5R, UV-82, etc, this selection was removed several months ago. Apparently due to component changes over the last year or so, it was discovered that there were as many as 3 different formats for how the frequency was stored in memory. And most recently it was discovered that some of the most recent shipping models no longer stored the broadcast FM frequency in memory for CHIRP to read and would no longer read any frequency that CHIRP provided. It was at this time that the support was removed.
CHIRP still reads and restores any value that the radios that still bother to store the value in memory that CHIRP has access to. You simply set the FM frequency that you want using the radio's keypad and then download from your radio to CHIRP. Then to test this you can set the FM radio to a different frequency and finally upload the previously saved tab from CHIRP and the frequency will be restored. For those radios that no longer store the frequency for CHIRP to grab, the 'different' frequency will remain and you will have to change it back using the radio's keypad.

The Baofeng I have (UV-82L) requires that I turn on the fm radio then adjust the tuning the same as is done with the main ham frequencies. I use the Up/Down buttons on the keyboard. (or the numbers for the freqs I wish)

Hey Jeff.
The original post wasn't asking about buttons on the front of the radio. He was asking about programming the frequency using his facourite computer software.
