[chirp_users] [CHIRP] #46: IC-2200H memory programming
#46: IC-2200H memory programming ------------------------------+--------------------------------------------- Reporter: 2e0jtp@… | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Stability Milestone: | Component: IC-2200 Version: 0.1.9 | Keywords: Platform: Windows | ------------------------------+--------------------------------------------- While creating a file to program into my IC-2200H, I created twelve memories and saved the file.
When I reopened the file, the frequency fields have changed to something completely different.

I believe this has been fixed. Can you try the latest 0.1.10 beta and verify?

Thanks!

Comment(by 2e0jtp@…):
I've downloaded and tried CHIRP 0.1.10b7 as you suggested and it just rewrote all my frequencies again. :(
I'm awfully glad I've only got 12 memories programmed...

Different frequencies this time though...

Comment(by kk7ds):
Okay, but when you program in something like 146.52, does it keep it correct? It's expected that opening your previous file would yield incorrect frequencies.
If not, can you attach your .img with the incorrect frequencies?
Thanks!

Comment(by 2e0jtp@…):
I opened the old file (with the incorrect frequencies), changed them to the correct frequencies and saved the file again.
When I reopened the newly saved file, what you see above (in-line image) is the result - the wrong frequencies appear.
They seem to go from 145.xxx down to 116.xxx for some reason.

Can you change the tuning step to something other than 12.5 and see if that makes it behave?

Comment(by 2e0jtp@…):
It changes the amount it misplaces the stored frequencies by, but they are all wrong again, but only by a small amount now.
145.7100 (145.7125) 181.8750 (145.500) 144.6100 (144.6125) 145.2850 (145.2875) 144.8350 (144.8375)

Okay, I will take a look here and see if I can reproduce. I'll get back to you.
