Thanks guys, this is a great piece of SW, it make the radio programming so easy. Let us know what's on your wish list so we can help you bringing Chirp forward.

John,
I think you interpreted this message opposite the way I did. My response would be: more developers! Those currently contributing to Chirp are stretched thin. Chirp provides a framework that makes it fairly simple to add new radios. Basic software development is all that's needed to start adding support for your own radios.

I've seen no info on how to develop our own additions.

No offense, but you obviously haven't looked very hard: http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Developers http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/DevelopersProcess http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/repository/entry/chirp/template.py

Hmmmm.... Saved your links for further investgation. The navigation through the site is a bit cumbersome, and has a lot of hoops to jump through. Easily enough missed. If I figure out the programming bit, I do have a couple models that could greatly benefit. I'll look at the ins and outs tomorrow and see what I can make happen. My brain does need a bit of exercise.
