I'm running Vista (32bit) and Com1 & Com 2 (which are open) won't work and next available is Com 33+. Any ideas or can we add more ports to the port list. Thanks.

If they won't open, then something else already has them open. You can use any COM port you want by typing the name directly into the box (i.e. you don't have to just choose from the ones provided).
