refer to chirp issues 8823 and 8571 . Pay attention to flatpak remotes. During the chirp install in flatpak, make sure you have an internet connection. You should be prompted to pick up the freedesktop dependency.

Sorry, I intentionally chdir into Download but then didn't update the command to capture the error:

$ flatpak install chirp-daily-20210310.flatpak error: The application com.danplanet.chirp/x86_64/master requires the runtime org.freedesktop.Platform/x86_64/19.08 which was not found
