The AnyTone AT-778UV is a supported radio model. Do you not have Windows 10 or newer?

Please tell me there is some way to change the font used by Chirp Next? The default font hurts my eyes!

Not currently, but please check tomorrow's build. The short story is, being a developer, I like tabulated and structured data to appear in fixed-width (i.e. typewriter) font so that everything lines up. I'm starting to gather the impression that my preference is not shared by many other people in the community :)
So tomorrow it will change to the system-default variable-width font. Please let me know if that addresses your concern.
If there are users here who prefer the fixed-width font the way it is today, speak up and I'll make a way for you to choose which one is used. If I'm the only one, then I won't bother :)

I'll add my +1 for fixed pitch. Definitely nice to have things line up. Variable pitch could get messy.

I MUCH prefer fixed width fonts.
My personal preference would be to default to a fixed width font, but allow the user to choose something different, if desired.

Okay, well, glad some other people here like the fixed-width :)
I'll work on making it an option. For tomorrow, it'll be variable width only, but sometime later, it'll be optional.

Hi there. I pulled the latest build from git this evening, and I still cannot run chirp from /usr/local/bin. Can someone please let me know what I may be doing wrong? Below is a screenshot from my last attempt. Thanks much, and looking forward to testing further developments.

Hi Guy, Did you do the full install? I made the mistake of trying the daily build without first actually installing Chirp. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think these daily things are not a full install. After all that, I did the full install, then the daily build, and the chirpw file ran, but I didn't use flatpak. And flatpak does not work with a screenreader, at least where I've tried it, so I just uninstalled my failed attempts. I don't know which language you are programming in, but I think most languages have a call to use the system font. Then everyone can have what ever their default is.
If I remember correctly, java has it, and C++. Source forge might have some helps.
