Re: [chirp_users] Baofeng T-57 (Jim Unroe)
More:
I went back to my saved images, and I had notated that I was using the UV-82WP drivers to read the UV-XP. That no longer works on the latest version of CHIRP. The version that I have installed on my programming laptop is 20200227. That still works.
Something has changed in the driver.

The case looks like my UV-XR, but that does not mean anything.

A T-57 is a UV-9R?

Thanks Jim, I've tried all the Baofeng models listed in CHIRP all to no avail. The predominant error message I get reads:
Error reading data from radio: not the amount of data we want
Does that help?

The last change to the driver was December 30, 2019 to add support for the UV-9R.
