[chirp_users] Adding frequencies outside of band plan
I have kenwood ™-241 that is able to handle frequencies that are able to be resolved correctly in the Kenwood MCP-1A programmer however chirp complains about the band and steps
the frequency is 15x.5625.
Is there a workaround to disable the test and enter the frequency
Thanks

I think the step would be 12.5 khz. And the USA version of the 241 stops at 148 mhz.

TM-241A isnt supported by chirp - and I dont even think it supports programming - it's only 20 channels. Perhaps you meant TM-271A ?

Well the USA version of the the 271A has 2.5 khz steps but still only tunes to 148. I was just perusing through the owner's manual.
