[chirp_users] Patch for TYT TH -UV88
I have a TYT TH-UV88 coming to me in a couple days and see that it's not supported by chirp. The seller's website says that it is essentially a 'ruggedized' Baofeng UV-5r. Has has anyone found a workaround for the TYT?
Thanks in advance, Tim Duffy

Hi Tim,
From what I can tell from looking at listings, it is not related to a
UV-5R. My advice would be to take the next couple of days to locate the factory programming software (if you haven't already) so you at least have something to start out with.

Thanks very much. I'll do that as the radio is coming with programming software. Now all I need is a Windows computer.
