This patch removed this code.

The driver for the RT76P currently only supports the default CHIRP CHARSET (which doesn't include special characters).

This patch updates rf.valid_characters to match the RT76P character set.

The latest RB17P firmware (v1.31) upgrades this model to 128 channels, customizable channels and adds support for channel names.

This patch adds support for these new features.
