[chirp_users] New Daily Build
Greetings,
A new daily build of CHIRP is available. This includes changes made directly to the tree yesterday, and may include additional features, bug fixes, and/or bugs. If you are interested in trying it, grab it from the following location:
http://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_daily/daily-20150620
A list of the changes included in this build (since the last daily) follows:
Changes for Build #354 [Jim Unroe rock.unroe@gmail.com] [UV-5R] Clean Up Code
This patch is to make recently added code more readable. There are no changes in functionality.
Related to #2643
[Jim Unroe rock.unroe@gmail.com] [UV-5R] Support BF-A58 as Radio With 3 Power Levels
The initial support for the BF-A58 added it as a radio with only 2 power levels. It has 3 power levels. This patch moves it to the group radios having 3 power levels.
Note: This patch also requires removing "BFT" from the BASETYPE_UV5R list and adding it to the BASETYPE_F8HP list. This was accidentally done already in a patch that added UV-82HP support.
Related to #2261
Changes for Build #355 [Dan Smith dsmith@danplanet.com] Change remote build for Win7x64
#00
Hi All,
A new daily build of CHIRP is available.
The reason this build didn't go out last night was there was a glitch in the build system. This came in because I've been building a new Windows build machine for these with newer versions of libraries, etc.
I fixed the issue just now and pushed out this build which was generated from the new build box. Please be on the lookout for any new issues or failures to run this build, especially on older platforms like WinXP. Issues you're looking for are things like failures to startup, do basic functions, or something like that. This shouldn't impact any radio drivers or programming behavior, so anything you find in that realm is probably unrelated.
Thanks for your help!

Dan and the crew,
Thank you for all that you and your team of volunteers do. It is very, very much appreciated.

I'll 'kick' the Fedora machine that generates RPMs - I think we missed its window this morning.
Thanks Dan, missed you at Dayton this year! Mike, N0SO

Is this what you are looking for?
Mark on facebook reported:
<quote> I just installed win 8.1 on the computer and reinstalled Chirp with 06 20 daily update. I went to RR link in chirp and get the following error after entering my UN and PW, any idea how to correct it?
"Suds library required for RadioReference.com import. Try installing your distribution's python-suds package" </quote>
I had him roll back to the 20150616 daily build and that took care of the issue.

Ah, yep! I'll try to get that fixed up today. The fact that he got that far is an excellent sign though. I'd also be interested in a report from an XP user that everything (except radioreference) works with the 0620 build.
Thanks Jim!

I get "chirpw.exe - Entry Point Not Found". The error goes on to say "The procedure entry point _except_handler_4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll."
