Hi Alvin,

If I recall, you have an FT-8900. That radio doesn't support bank indexes, and CHIRP doesn't yet support the Yaesu bank model (since it is many-to-many, instead of many-to-one like most radios).
For moving rows, you can select one or more rows and then right-click and choose cut. Then select the first row where you want it to go, then right-click and choose paste.
If you need to make a "hole" in which to paste a bunch of memories, the right-click menu has insert and delete options as well.
Good luck!
*Yes,sorry I should have mentioned it's a FT8900. Thanks I'll try you tips. I have some memories with a P (I assume it's the MSM thing) and S (for skip). I can unselect P if it already there but can't add it to a memory that doesn't have it. There's no selection.* *Also when you move roes with cut and past you still have to update the channels column manly? **Alvin Koffman *

Hmm, not sure what you mean exactly. I just tried on a local image of an 8900 that I have and it lets me choose either None, S, or P for the skip column.
Also when you move roes with cut and past you still have to update the channels column manly?
Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean here, can you elaborate?
*I have P on som but if it's not there I don't have the option to choose it, only S or none. I'm runing daly version0 6032011 **Alvin Koffman *

Quick stupid question with the D7A(g) on the latest daily build.
First the setup:
I have the latest daily build working fine with my D72 and TH-F6A. My D7A(g) just sits there when trying to read from the radio. The real kicker is when I use the 0.1.11b5 version, the A(g) is read fine. Any issue.

Dr. Stupidhead here. I'm using a Linux machine for Chirp. Forgot to mention that.:-)

Hmm, okay. If you could run it in the terminal and capture the output, that would be helpful:
./chirpw >mylog.txt 2>&1
Then reproduce the hang, wait a bit, and then close chirp. Send me the log file and I'll take a look. I don't have a D7, so I have to borrow one to do any hands-on investigation :)
