[chirp_users] Problems with Baofeng GT-1 and beat shift(scramble) option
Hello to all,
I bought two Baofeng GT-1 to test the beat shift(scramble) option, I tried with chirp and baofeng original software, I can enable or disable this feature but scramble does not occur, the voice is always sent in plain.
Can anybody help me?

Perhaps is doesn’t work on ham frequencies, as it would be illegal.

Ernesto,
Not all of the Baofeng BF-888s radios (which the Baofeng GT-1 is a variant of) have the scramble feature. CHIRP and the factory software can only enable scramble when the radio has that capability available. Your GT-1 apparently doesn't have it.
