[chirp_users] Alinco Cable Experience?
Hello group,
I'm probably going to be purchasing an Alinco DJ-G7 soon, and I was wondering if the Alinco brand cable (part # ERW-7) works with Chirp? Has anyone used it before? The instructions for it indicate that it uses an FTDI driver, so I would think it has a genuine FTDI chip in it.

Chirp doesn't care which cable you use. It's your operating system that has to have the correct driver. Linux seems to work with virtually anything, Windows and OS-X can both be a bit touchy.
