[chirp_users] ARM Distribution?
I've got a little Raspberry Pi 2 (ARM) computer setup with UbuntMATE, and when I went to install everything I ran into problems, however we did work it out. Either way I just wanted to bring this bit to the table to request a version of CHIRP for ARM. Also, as much as I can tell what I've got setup is a text-based Python program, and documentation is slim; is there more documentation somewhere else where I'm not looking?
Hello Patrick,
Per the official documentation at http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Running_Under_Linux , the easiest approach would be to install the PPA but it seems Dan is only building for x86-based CPUs (not ARM) today. That's ok though as the Chirp code is just Python. Just follow the "Manual installation from source" section and you should be good to go!
Ps. When downloading Chirp, you'll probably want to use the newest daily build and not some of the older builds.

No, I'm specifying "any" architecture:

Launchpad only builds intel packages by default. I've asked for arm builds to be enabled for the PPA, but it's out of my hands:
