Windows 10 Yaesu FT 8900r First time attempting to clone

After selecting com port, hitting OK and following the instructions, I press the left V/M button and I get this message:

An error has occurred Failed to communicate with radio: Failed to read header (0)

Any help and assistance will be greatly appreciated
