[chirp_users] Copying channel assignments.
I downloaded my channel assignments from my Baofeng UV5A to CHIRP ok. But I want to copy them to my Wouxun KG-UV2D. It won't give me the Wouxun model to copy it to. Can you please help me?

I use the setting for the Wouxun KG-UVD1P and that works great for me. Hope this helps. 73

Hi Al,
Save your UV-5RA settings to a CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file. Download from your KG-UV2D (or load a previously downloaded image) With the KG-UV2D tab selected... 1. Click "File" 2. Click "Import" 3. Click the button that says "CHIRP Files (*.chirp)" and choose "CHIRP Radio Images (*.img)" from the list that appears. 4. find and load the saved UV-5RA image. 5. edit the "Import From File" menu as needed click the [OK] button.
