I am new to the mailing list, so I apologize if this topic has been covered before.

I recently installed the latest daily build on Ubuntu 12.04.   I am connecting to a Kenwood  TH6A using a FTDI cable.   My problem is that I am denied access to the port unless I run Chirp from the terminal as root.

Is there a solution to this issue?
