[chirp_users] CHIRP Next-Build
The new version of CHIRP will not display recently-open files. Christopher Knowles, WD1E
It looks like it reset the list. For me, it will after you've selected a file.

How do I find the previous files? I have tried the File Explorer to look for files with a csv extension but have come up with nothing!

I recently re-wrote the algorithm that manages that list to try to make it smarter and avoid the duplicates it likes to collect. I intended to preserve the current list, but maybe that wasn't as successful in all situations as I was hoping. Hopefully the new algorithm is worth it though :)

Thanks for your response, Dan! What I did was plug in the USB cable link and download the current configuration file from my BTECH UV-50X2 (which I bought because of your positive review (I LOVE IT!)). Then, I connected my Baofeng UV-XR and downloaded that radio's configuration file. Then, when I tried "Recent Files", both files appeared. Then, when I went to "Open", all the saved files appeared. Thanks again, and keep up the good work! 73s, Chris Knowles, WD1E
