[chirp_users] Private line problems
When I bring up CHIRP for my BAOFENG UV-B5, all of the tone pls shoe 88.5, and all the digitals show 023 (both are the lowest tone digits). All of the tone tags are off. I can NOT clear this up, even if I change Rx and Tx tone, one will always go back to it's origonal lowest setting. There seems no way to to clear them all. HELP!

Go to View > Hide Unused Fields. Make sure this is checked. Now unused tones will be hidden, making it much more obvious which tones are in use.

Don't worry about what they show unless you have the feature turned on. If you are not using a tone or DCS, it doesn't matter.

That's normal. On the menu bar select View/Hide Unused Fields and you won't see them unless you have PL or DCS enabled on a channel.
