[chirp_users] Bullseye 64 Chirp-next build
After a seemingly successful Buster 64 buil and install, all seems OK, but I have the following in the terminal window:
*(chirp:9399): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 14:30:16.961: gtk_distribute_natural_allocation: assertion 'extra_space >= 0' failed*
Is this a concern? If yes, how to fix it?

No, GTK has a long history of unceremoniously barfing warnings and errors to the console, much to the chagrin of app developers that use it. They also seem to have a different definition for "critical" as clearly the error is.. not critical :)

Another reason to scrap Bullseye....
After a successful CHIRP-next build on *Bullseye* 64, I discovered the Baofeng UV5R USB-Serial interface (Prolific PL-2303) adapter cable is not supported in Bullseye. (according to all available threads on the subject) I had to re-build on *Buster* 64 for the interface cable/radio to be discovered. Any similiar experience on this, or possible work-arounds to make Bullseye se the Prolific PL-2303? P.S. - This is a genuine cable....not a conferfit knock-off

more on PL2303 on Bullseye 64...
I've tried this on the following Kernels - 5.15, 5.17, and 6.1 all with the same "not recognized" results.
With Buster 64, all the above Kernels instantly detect and recognize the Prolific PL2303.
