[chirp_users] Drats & GPS?..
Hey All, I finally got the GPS antenna outside and on the roof from the basement. Is there a work around for having the GPS active and still run D-Rats? I'd like to have my GPS data sent on Simplex, but use D-Rats also.. Thanks.. Jeff-N8NOE

Did you meant to send this to the D-RATS list instead of the CHIRP list?
OK, I'm the Dumbest SOB (Sweet Ol' Boy ).. Yes I did, and I have the filter set and did a Reply thing.. SORRY!.. This was really NOT a bright thing, but glad someone can have a laugh at my Expense!.. Thanks for letting me know, and really sorry about this one!.. I am a "Bit" brighter than this ( Most the time).. Jeff-N8NOE

Just curious Jeff - why run an antenna and GPS receiver for a stationary location. Use an NMEA emulator program that makes your PC look like a GPS receiver to your radio. I use NMEAGEN107 that is posted in the DSTAR Dig yahoo group files section. I don't hve the answer to your question but I think not. 73, steve
