[chirp_users] latest build trouble on MacOS
I downloaded the .1.1.12 .zip file for MacOS. After Extraction when I run the .App it prompts about being first time run and do I want to download. Immediately after clicking 'OK' it gives an error saying "unable to fetch CHIRP 0.1.12".
Is there a way to manually download the full App?

I just added a fix for this (from JT Travers) which should resolve the issue. Please try tomorrow's daily build and let me know.
Thanks!
Will do! Thanks!

With today's daily build? It seems to work here (approximating the execution on Linux).
Can you run it with tracing enabled? From the terminal, something like:
bash -x chirp-daily-10262011.app/Contents/MacOS/chirp-daily-10262011
That would help figure out what's going on.
oops. I realized I just re-downloaded the stable release build on the main page instead of the latest daily build.
Seems to be working now! Thanks!

Yeah, I just realized that I hadn't updated the stable .app and that you were probably grabbing that. So, I've updated it so that if people download 0.1.12 they'll get a working version.

Cool, sorry for the confusion!
Dan,
On the FT-8900 with this latest build... names still show as frequency and not the alpha numeric name. Is there a way to toggle to show all alpha? When I upload to the radio, it displays frequency. I can go to a channel and toggle one channel at a time but that is not what I want to do.
