He is not asking about the number of memory slots in a radio. Additionally, the number of slots in radios varies widely from manufacturer to manufacturer and model to mode. I've seen everywhere from 12 to over 300.

Check in your users' manual to see for that particular model. Most have 127 (128 if you count channel 0) channels, although it get fun when you have some of the later ones with dual and tri-band thngies. CHIRP calls the "Memories" in the upper left of the page.
