[chirp_users] Btech UV-5X3
Power on massage field is grey'd out for Btech UV-5X3 so cannot set message. No error messages. All other features to upload programing to this radio work ! I can activate the power on message via the radio menu but it reverts back to no message after uploading from CHIRP. I tested this same daily build to activate the power on message on a BF-F8HP, BF-F8+III as well as a Yaesu FT2900, all worked without issue?
Radio firmware is in the 2nd graphic below Third graphic below, for reference, is BF-F8HP showing active power on message field

That is because it was intentionally programmed to be read-only fields to let you know what was placed in there from the factory.
